NEW SOLUTION FOR WATER QUALITY MONITORING
NWater introduces a new revolutionary solution for online water quality monitoring. Microlab is a microscope sensor which detects and measures water-borne particles and microbes in real time. Changes in count, size or shape of micro-objects may indicate pipe breakage, equipment failure, faecal contamination of water or other abnormal event. Imaging microscopic detection provides the earliest warning of a problem, allowing corrective action to be taken before water safety becomes compromised.
NWater Microlab is
Representative - the device scans several millilitres of water per minute, analysing detected particles and microbes in real time. The method complements sampling-based water monitoring with continuous, ultra-sensitive analysis.
Accurate and sensitive - measurement based on individual particles analysis is more sensitive to changes in water quality than traditional online methods such as electrical conductive and turbidity sensors. Compared to particle counters, measurement of particle size and shape brings additional advantage because it allows detection of indicator microbes.
Featured - to complement the microscopy sensor, Microlab can be equipped with integrated UV254 sensor. Based on absorption of UV light, the measurement indicates changes in dissolved organics concentration in water. Microlab also functions as a data logging system for external sensors (such as pH, flow, conductivity), transmitting measurement results to SCADA or cloud service over wireless connection.
